The history behind our company

Our funeral director in Bergen was established in 1991 by Knut Helge Polden, who has more than 35 years of experience in the funeral trade

Not a conventional Funeral Director

We have chosen the wording ”begravelsehjelp” (funeral assistance) in our name. Our philosophy is that you should choose your own level of involvement in funeral arrangements. We do not necessarily have to carry out all the tasks for you.

Member of Begravelsesbyråenes Forum Norge

We are a certified member of BFN - Begravelsesbyråenes Forum Norge. We follow BFN’s standards and etiquette for funeral services, and all our staff has completed a BFN course for funeral professionals.

Our staff

Knut Helge Poldens two sons are now involved in the company. We have also been joined by Tom Wilson. Tom has a long experience working as funeral consultant.
